Description

Takealot, in partnership with the Youth Employment Service (YES), is offering a 12-month paid learnership opportunity for unemployed youth to gain valuable workplace experience. This programme focuses on providing learners with digital marketing and e-commerce skills while supporting small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) who are Takealot Marketplace sellers.

Important Note: Learners will be placed with SMMEs (small businesses) who are Takealot Marketplace sellers, not directly with Takealot itself.

Responsibilities

Assist SMMEs with their Takealot Marketplace presence
Support digital marketing activities including: Social media management and content creation, Basic product photography and image editing, Online listing optimisation, Customer engagement and feedback management
Help create and optimise product listings for the Takealot Marketplace
Learn about e-commerce operations and logistics
Gain exposure to other aspects of business operations
Complete required training and skills development activities
Participate in regular progress assessments
