Description
The Plant Production Learnership offers unemployed youth within Mogale City the opportunity to gain practical and theoretical experience in agriculture, horticulture, and environmental studies. Learners will be equipped with essential skills in plant production and sustainable land management through structured training.
Responsibilities
- Participate in theoretical and practical agricultural training sessions.
- Support local agricultural initiatives and community-based horticultural projects.
- Apply sustainable farming and environmental conservation techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of daily learning and project activities.
- Assist in the care and cultivation of plants under supervision.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification (with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy).
- Must reside within Mogale City Local Municipality.
- Aged between 18–35 years and currently unemployed.
- No criminal record.
- Must not be receiving NSFAS or enrolled in another SETA programme.
- Applicants with an N6 qualification should not apply.
- Must be a South African citizen.
