Description
The Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison invites suitably qualified youth to apply for the Basic Traffic Officers Diploma Learnership (2025–2026). This 12-month programme offers theoretical and practical training in traffic law enforcement to prepare learners for a career in public safety and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Undergo structured training in traffic and law enforcement procedures.
- Enforce road traffic laws, by-laws, and safety regulations.
- Participate in community road safety awareness initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of discipline, integrity, and professionalism.
- Successfully complete academic modules, physical assessments, and driving tests.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- South African citizen residing in Mpumalanga.
- Minimum of a Code B driving licence.
- Medically and physically fit (medical assessment required).
- No criminal record.
- Aged between 18 and 35 years.
