Description

Stryker is seeking a Finance Intern to support the Finance team with financial analysis, reporting, and administrative tasks. The intern will assist in month-end close processes, prepare daily sales and monthly cost centre reports, and support ad hoc financial queries. This role also involves ensuring compliance with company policies and coordinating finance-related communications under the guidance of the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

Ensure that Stryker’s Compliance and Ethics program is followed at all times and that there is strict adherence to the Code of Conduct in all interactions.
Assist in providing regular feedback on performance of cost centers and allocated business units & General Ledger accounts.
Assisting in the performance of month end close processes with adherence to reporting deadlines and assisting Finance Management with related tasks
Prepare daily sales reports
Prepare monthly cost Centre reporting to the business (BU P/L)
Perform ad hoc queries as requested by Management and the business.
Co-ordinate all finance communications as per guidance of Finance Manager.
Attend to administrative matters of the Financial Reporting and Analysis function of Finance.

Minimum requirement matric with preferably tertiary/university qualification within the accounting or finance sphere.
