Unilever is inviting applications for a Finance Intern position based in Anderbolt, Boksburg.

This full-time internship provides structured and supervised experiential learning designed to help candidates build workplace capability and become future-fit within a finance environment.

The successful candidate will report to the Production Accountant and gain practical exposure to finance-related activities within a factory-based setting. This opportunity is suitable for candidates who have completed a National Diploma or BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting and want to develop their professional experience within a leading global company.

This is a factory-based role in Johannesburg and requires 100% on-site attendance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured finance internship programme.
• Gain supervised experiential learning within Unilever’s finance environment.
• Support finance-related tasks under the guidance of the Production Accountant.
• Apply accounting and financial knowledge in a practical workplace setting.
• Assist with finance administration and reporting activities where required.
• Use basic computer applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Follow workplace instructions, processes, and company standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in daily tasks.
• Support the finance function in line with business requirements.
• Develop workplace readiness and practical finance experience.

Requirements

• Completed National Diploma or BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Accounts 1 and Accounts 2 subjects are required as a minimum.
• Candidates must upload their Matric certificate.
• Candidates must upload their academic transcript with their CV.
• Basic computer literacy is required.
• Must be able to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• 0 to 2 years of working experience.
• Must be legally able to work in South Africa.
• Must be available to work on site full-time at the factory-based location.
• Must be willing to work under local terms and conditions.
