Sage is hiring a Sales Intern for its Midrand Offices in Johannesburg.

The internship is designed for a motivated, sales-driven, and customer-focused individual who will assist the sales team in driving sales initiatives, achieving sales objectives, fostering strong client relationships, expanding the customer base, and enhancing customer satisfaction through communication and administrative support.

Work Place Type: Hybrid

Office requirement: 3 days per week in the Midrand office

Successful candidates will join the Intern Programme on 1 October 2026 for 12 months.

Responsibilities

Sales Support

• Assist the sales team in achieving their sales objectives by proactively participating in sales efforts.
• Engage in prospecting new customers to expand market presence.
• Prepare, present, and follow up on offers to potential clients.

Customer Relationship Management

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
• Resolve customer problems and complaints efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanour.
• Maintain and update the customer database to ensure accurate records.

Sales Administration

• Process and follow up on customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the preparation of sales reports to track performance and identify growth opportunities.

Campaign Support

• Assist in the development and execution of campaigns that align with sales goals.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
• Degree or National Diploma in:
  • Business Management
  • Marketing
  • Any other relevant qualification
• Must have no working experience.
• Must be able to work on Microsoft Office products.
• Clear criminal record.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
