Description
Sage is hiring a Sales NCA & Migration Intern to join its sales team.
The intern will work closely with Sales colleagues in the Medium and Small segment, supporting quoting and administrative duties. This includes reviewing opportunities before quoting, checking customer and tax information, creating opportunities on CRM and Salesforce, responding to email queries, preparing quotations, following up with customers, confirming appointments, cold calling potential customers, researching companies, and loading opportunities on various systems.

Successful candidates will join the Intern Programme on 1 October 2026 for 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Search CRM and Salesforce to check whether an opportunity already exists.
- Drop quotations on open opportunities where opportunities already exist.
- Open new opportunities in Salesforce and CRM where no opportunity exists.
- Drop quotations on both Salesforce and CRM.
- Phone customers to confirm receipt of quotations.
- Load opportunities on Smart Sheets when required.
- Forward Smart Sheet confirmation emails to the ASM for data verification.
- Load opportunities under the name of the opportunity owner, not under the intern’s own name.
- Confirm appointments for the allocated ASM.
- Move appointments where necessary for the allocated ASM.
- Sit in on selected sales demos for exposure.
- Assist with taking minutes during meetings or demos when required by the allocated ASM.
- Assist with quotations for runtimes.
- Redirect business-related queries to the correct department when incorrectly directed to Sales.
- Load escalation webforms on behalf of clients.
- Assist ASMs with client research.
- Assist in completing Due Diligence forms with support from the allocated ASM.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Degree or Diploma in:
- Marketing
- Business Management
- Any relevant qualification
- Must have no working experience.
- Must not have completed any internship or graduate programme.
- Must be able to work on Microsoft Office.
- Must have a clear criminal record.
