Administrative Clerk

Description

The Department of Roads and Transport is seeking five (5) qualified individuals to provide general administrative support within the Provincial Regulatory Entity. This role involves secretarial, clerical, and customer service duties to ensure efficient office operations.

Responsibilities

•  Perform general administrative tasks including typing, scanning, filing, emailing, and mail tracking
•  Provide secretariat support and coordinate logistics for meetings
•  Maintain attendance registers and manage records
•  Deliver customer service and after-care support
•  Support administrative functions of the Gauteng Provincial Regulatory Entity

Requirements

•  Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 equivalent qualification
•  No experience required

Skills & Competencies

•  Strong planning and organizational skills
•  Excellent written and verbal communication
•  Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•  Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
•  Ability to work under pressure
•  Knowledge of GPRE functions, National Road Traffic Act, and Public Service Acts
