Description

Accurately capture documentation and manifests on the Freightware system, ensuring compliance with company and customer procedures.

Responsibilities

•  Check daily manifest for scanning inconsistencies
•  Change status of the order on the system
•  Capture local delivery manifests for daily deliveries
•  Send out e-mails to branches to handle returns and damaged goods
•  Capture all consolidation outgoing documents and manifests
•  Investigate any discrepancies
•  Create the manifest on the system for delivery or collection
•  Check for any damaged parcels
•  Book cargo on the system to be delivered /collected as per instructions or special requests
•  Capture all consolidations delivery manifest and debrief all Linehaul manifests and collection bookings
•  Capture daily collection and delivery reports
•  Capture and confirm customer information prior to any parcels leaving the branch where needed
•  Take care to confirm the service type
•  Double check the manifest information captured on the system
•  Capture manifest data on the system
•  Check for scanning inconsistencies
•  Liaise with CSD via email to resolve customer queries
•  Follow up on all queries related to, damages, collections and returns
•  Assist in relevant operations/operational functions as required

Requirements

•  Grade 12 (Matric)
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
•  Good typing skills
•  Attention to detail
