Description
The Accounting Clerk will provide financial administration support, including processing financial transactions, salary administration, bookkeeping, and assisting with budget activities to ensure compliance with financial legislation and departmental procedures.
Responsibilities
- Process financial accounting transactions
- Provide salary administration support
- Perform bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks
- Assist with budget planning, monitoring, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and departmental policies
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Commercial subjects
- Knowledge of financial legislation and procedures
- Understanding of PFMA, DORA, PSA, PSR, PPPFA
- Knowledge of BAS, LOGIS, JYP, and PERSAL systems
