A General Worker opportunity is available in Fochville, Gauteng, for a reliable and hardworking candidate who can assist with general cleaning, hygiene-related duties, and basic operational tasks.

The role involves maintaining cleanliness in and around the store, storage areas, yard, bins, and buildings according to required standards and regulations. The successful candidate will be expected to assist with general duties when requested and help ensure that the working environment remains clean, safe, and organised.

This is a permanent full-time position with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities

• Take out trash from the store and storage areas.
• Assist with general duties when requested.
• Perform general cleaning functions according to required standards.
• Clean and maintain yard areas.
• Clean and maintain bin areas.
• Clean and maintain building areas.
• Follow hygiene and cleanliness requirements.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Support the team with basic operational tasks.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organised work environment.

Requirements

• Must live within 30km of the job location.
• Must have a clear criminal record.
• Must be able to perform general cleaning duties.
• Must be able to assist with physical tasks when required.
• Must be available to work according to the required schedule.
• Must be willing to start as soon as possible.
• Applicants may be asked to confirm whether they have passed Grade 10.
• Applicants may be asked whether they can use different cleaning products and equipment.
