Required Documents

Submit:

• A fully completed New Z83 application form.
• A recent comprehensive curriculum vitae.
• Contactable referees, including their telephone numbers and email addresses.

The New Z83 form may be obtained from any Public Service Department or downloaded from:

• Office of the Chief Justice website
• DPSA vacancies website

The Z83 form must be fully completed, signed and initialled on both pages.

Applications submitted using the old Z83 form will not be considered.

Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of qualifications and other related documents on or before the interview date following communication from Human Resources.

Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide an evaluation of those qualifications.

Important Notes

• Incomplete, unsigned or uninitialled Z83 forms will result in disqualification.
• Applications that do not include the correct job title, advertised office and reference number may be disqualified.
• Late applications will not be considered.
• Failure to submit all requested documents will result in the application not being considered.
• Shortlisted candidates will complete a practical exercise and an integrity assessment.
• Applicants may be required to consent to access to their social-media accounts.
• Suitable candidates will undergo personnel suitability checks.
• Checks may include criminal-record, financial, citizenship, qualification, social-media, reference and employment verification.
• Successful candidates will be required to enter into an employment contract and performance agreement within three months of appointment.
• Successful candidates must undergo security clearance within three months after appointment.
• Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates.
• Applicants who are not contacted within three months after the closing date should regard their applications as unsuccessful.
• The Office of the Chief Justice reserves the right not to make an appointment.
• Personal information supplied during the application process will be used for recruitment and internal audit purposes in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act.
