The Administration Clerk: Library Service (Hermanus Region) position is based at Hermanus Region, Western Cape and forms part of Western Cape Government - Department Of Cultural Affairs And Sport. The role carries out the responsibilities and service-delivery functions described below.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the region and affiliated public libraries
• Provide asset control support services
• provide personnel administration support services within the office
• Provide financial administration support services in the regional office

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification)
• A valid (Code B or higher) driving license. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply

Skills & Competencies

• Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Computer Library
• Clerical Duties
• Data capturing
• Collecting statistics. Skills in the following: Written and verbal communication
• Planning and organising
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
