Applicants must complete the screening and assessment questions using their own knowledge. The assessment may take at least 30 minutes.

Important Notes

• Forty apprenticeship positions are available.
• Applicants must have Grade 12 with Mathematics or Technical Mathematics.
• Mathematical Literacy will not be accepted.
• A valid driver’s licence is required.
• No previous work experience is stated as mandatory.
• The first six months are a probation period.
• The formal apprenticeship normally runs for three years.
• The apprenticeship contract cannot exceed four years.
• Failed subjects or training phases must be repeated at the apprentice’s own cost and time.
• Withdrawal after probation or during the work-back period may result in repayment of training expenses.
• Applicants must be available for interviews and assessments.
• Applicants who receive no response within 30 days after the closing date should consider their applications unsuccessful.
• Appointments will be aligned with AFGRI’s Employment Equity Policy.
