DHL Supply Chain South Africa is inviting applications for the Yes 4 Youth Learnership - VW (x5) opportunity based in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape.

This opportunity is suited to diligent and adaptable unemployed youth who want to gain practical workplace knowledge and experience in a logistics environment. The role is designed for individuals who are willing to take on new responsibilities, follow instructions, and grow their skills for future career opportunities.

The successful candidates will support loading and offloading activities, carry out delivery-related tasks, and follow all allocated instructions from Team Leaders and Managers while maintaining the integrity of the company.

Responsibilities

• Learn and adhere to the client’s requirements.
• Build knowledge and experience to ensure the correct use of equipment.
• Report any equipment defects timeously.
• Report and record any non-conformity relating to customer merchandise.
• Work within operating areas as determined by management and business needs.
• Follow operating procedures and safe working practices at all times.
• Fulfil allocated loading and offloading tasks according to delivery procedures.
• Carry out instructions provided by Team Leaders and Managers.
• Complete delivery instructions and allocated tasks accurately.

Requirements

• Matric with English and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
• Must be a BBB-EE candidate.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must be unemployed youth between 18 and 29 years old.
• A valid driver’s license, minimum Code 08, is desirable.
• A valid Forklift or Reach Truck license is desirable.
• Must have a CV.
• Must have a certified copy of ID.
• Must have a certified copy of Matric certificate.
