Job Description

The RMB FirstJob Learnership is designed to help recent graduates transition into the workplace through structured learning and practical business exposure. Successful candidates will work within a professional environment where they will support day-to-day business activities, contribute to assigned projects, and develop valuable workplace competencies.

Learners will gain hands-on experience in areas such as research and analysis, administration and reporting, process improvement support, and project coordination. Throughout the programme, candidates will receive guidance, mentorship, and development support to strengthen their skills and improve their readiness for future career opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality work across assigned tasks and projects
• Plan, manage, and report on responsibilities within required timelines
• Support research and analysis activities in the assigned business area
• Assist with administration and reporting duties
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives
• Support project coordination and execution
• Share knowledge with peers and relevant stakeholders
• Manage personal development plans to improve skills and competencies

Requirements

• Must have a completed diploma or degree in one of the following fields:
  • Finance
  • Data Analytics
  • Statistics
  • Law
  • Information Security
  • Computer Science
  • Human Resources
• Must be between 18 and 34 years old
• Must be unemployed for at least six months at the date of application
• Must be a South African citizen
• Must have no prior permanent employment
• Must have no previous participation in a learnership programme
• Must not be registered for any current studies
• Must have no prior work experience within the FirstRand Group
