Job Description

SANParks is inviting applications from unemployed graduates who have completed a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma at NQF Level 6 or NQF Level 7 from a South African public higher education institution. The internship programme is designed to provide structured workplace experience over a period of 24 months.

Successful applicants will be placed at Marakele National Park in relevant departments based on their qualifications. This programme offers practical exposure, skills development, and work experience, but SANParks is under no obligation to employ interns after completion of the programme.

• Human Capital Management
  Qualification: Diploma / B Degree in Human Resources Management
  Number Allocated: 1

• Tourism Department
  Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Tourism or Hospitality Management
  Number Allocated: 1

• Finance Department
  Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor of Commerce in Finance
  Number Allocated: 1

• Admin Department
  Qualification: Diploma in Accounting
  Number Allocated: 1

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be an unemployed graduate aged 18 to 35
• Must be a South African citizen
• Must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma at NQF 6 or NQF 7
• Qualification must be in one of the listed fields of study
• Qualification must be from a South African public higher education institution
• Must not have previously been employed
• Must not have participated in an internship or placement programme before
