A Fiduciary Assistant Intern opportunity is available within the wealth management industry in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.

The client is an established wealth management firm that provides specialist solutions to clients’ individual financial needs by offering a comprehensive range of services and expertise to manage and grow their wealth.

The successful candidate will assist the Fiduciary team with administrative matters, including safe custody, correspondence, data capturing, scanning, and filing.

This is a 3-year internship designed to help the successful intern develop the foundational competencies required for the profession.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit correspondence with the Master’s Office.
• Follow up on outstanding matters until resolved.
• Process original documents.
• Place documents within and remove documents from the PCT safes.
• Ensure all systems and lists are updated.
• Assist in writing cover letters.
• Attend to the Trust inbox.
• Capture data as required within the CRM system and CDD process.
• Scan all documents received by PCT.
• File scanned documents within SharePoint.
• File all original documents within the necessary hard file.

Requirements

• Matric.
• 1 to 3 years working experience in a fiduciary environment.
• Microsoft Suite.
• Xplan.
