Responsibilities

• Enter data from source documents into various systems accurately and on time.
• Check for errors and fix any issues in the data.
• Compare data with source documents to make sure it’s correct.
• Update existing records and retrieve info when needed.
• Regularly back up data to prevent loss.
• Keep files organised for easy access.
• Work with the team to sort out discrepancies.
• Keep sensitive info confidential.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a data entry clerk or similar role.
• Fast and accurate typing skills.
• Sharp eye for detail—must spot mistakes quickly.
• Good with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other data entry tools.
• Can work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Clear communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Matric/High school certificate; additional qualifications in data management are a plus.
