The Limpopo Department of Social Development is inviting applications for Cleaner positions across multiple offices and districts in Limpopo.

There are 8 posts available.

The successful candidates will provide cleaning services and help maintain clean, safe, hygienic and organised working environments. The role includes cleaning offices and facilities, maintaining cleaning materials and equipment, supporting hygiene standards, and helping prevent infection in the workplace.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates with a Junior Certificate, Grade 10, ABET or equivalent qualification who are reliable, disciplined and able to perform general cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services.
• Keep and maintain cleaning materials and equipment.
• Request and manage the supply of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Implement and maintain hygiene standards.
• Support infection prevention measures.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, safe and presentable.
• Follow workplace cleaning procedures.
• Apply basic occupational health and safety practices.
• Support a clean and hygienic working environment.
• Perform cleaning duties as instructed.

Requirements

• Junior Certificate, Grade 10, ABET or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of cleaning services.
• Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles.
• Knowledge of basic safety and hygiene practices.
• Knowledge of basic occupational health and safety.
• Knowledge of infection control and hazard monitoring.
