Job Description

The Department of Employment and Labour is inviting applications for two Client Service Officer: Public Employment Services posts.

The available posts are based at the Makhanda Labour Centre and the Nqanqarhu Labour Centre in the Eastern Cape. The successful candidates will support the registration of work-seekers, work opportunities and learning opportunities on the Employment Services of South Africa system.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Render registration services of work-seekers on ESSA.
• Render registration services of work and learning opportunities on ESSA.
• Refer work-seekers for Employment Counselling services.
• Provide administrative support with the placement of work-seekers in work and learning opportunities.
• Render general administrative duties.
• Participate in advocacy sessions as and when required.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• No experience required
• A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage
