Description

Doppio Collection is looking for a Griller to join its team in Centurion. The successful candidate will prepare and cook grilled food items to a high standard while keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and well organised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and grill meat, chicken, and other menu items according to restaurant standards.
• Ensure food is cooked correctly and safely and is presented well before serving.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness requirements at all times.
• Set up and prepare the grill station before service begins.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to maintain food quality.
• Clean and maintain the grill and surrounding work area during and after shifts.
• Work closely with other kitchen employees to ensure smooth service.
• Report equipment faults and stock shortages to the supervisor.
• Store food correctly to prevent waste and contamination.
• Assist with basic food preparation when required.

Requirements

• Experience working as a griller.
• Experience in casual or fine-dining restaurants.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Must live within 20 km of the workplace.

Other

Employment Details

• Permanent, full-time position.
• Eight working hours per day.
• Shift-based work schedule.

Preferences

The following would be advantageous but are not compulsory:

• Matric or Grade 12.
• South African candidate.
• Ability to communicate in Setswana.
• Candidates between 28 and 40 years old.
