Description

DHL Supply Chain South Africa is offering an opportunity for a Graduate Logistics Specialist to join its operations in Boksburg. This role supports the development of supply chain solutions by assisting with operational proposals, process improvements, and strategic initiatives that meet customer and business needs.

The successful candidate will support data management, operational reporting, and system implementation activities while working closely with senior management and key account teams. The role also involves contributing to service delivery standards, improving operational processes, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance within supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of operational processes and systems
Identify and resolve process or system output issues
Provide management information and operational reports
Benchmark operational processes against industry best practices
Align operational solutions with internal and external stakeholders
Support delivery of SLAs and KPIs to customers
Analyse and recommend improvements to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Identify operational improvement opportunities
Support organisational change initiatives
Present accurate data and reports to support decision-making
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Support senior management with operational and business requirements
Analyse operational data and provide strategies for improvement
Assist with developing and presenting new solution proposals

Requirements

Degree in Supply Chain Management
Matric (essential)
Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Business Management advantageous

Advanced Excel knowledge
Ability to learn new systems quickly
Ability to work independently
Flexibility to manage multiple tasks
Data analysis and reporting skills
Communication skills (English verbal and written)

Travel may be required to multiple sites (less than 25%)
