Job Description

The National Credit Regulator (NCR) is inviting applications for five Data Capturer positions within its Registrations Department. These fixed-term contract roles are designed for candidates who can support accurate data processing, document control, certificate administration, and client service within a structured regulatory environment.

The role focuses on maintaining accurate registrant records, supporting registration workflows, printing certificates, scanning documents, assisting walk-in clients, and handling general office administration. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, computer literate, and interested in gaining experience in a professional regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Capture applicant and registrant information accurately into the system
• Provide administrative support to the Registrations Department
• Print registration, renewal, replacement, and additional branch certificates
• Scan and file documents correctly
• Perform general office administration duties
• Answer calls and email documents to applicants and registrants
• Assist walk-in clients with administrative enquiries
• Update registrant information on the system
• Help maintain accurate records that support registration processes

Requirements

• A 1-year post-matric qualification in Office Administration or End-User Computing with at least 1 year of relevant experience
  or
• Grade 12 / Matric with at least 2 years of relevant administrative experience

Knowledge

• National Credit Act
• Registration of credit providers, debt counsellors, and credit bureaux

Skills
