Job Description

The Department of Employment and Labour is inviting applications for the Senior Local Appeals Complaints Officer: Beneficiary Services position in Limpopo.

This opportunity is suited to a candidate with experience in client service, claims processing, and appeals-related support within a UIF or insurance claims environment.

The successful candidate will support local appeal board processes, verify the processing of appeals, supervise administrative support services, and oversee resources within the section.

Responsibilities

• Verify the provision of secretariat functions for the Local Appeal Board.
• Verify the processing of appeals.
• Supervise the rendering of administrative support services to the Regional Appeals Board.
• Supervise resources within the section.

Requirements

• Undergraduate qualification in one of the following at NQF Level 6 as recognised by SAQA:
  • Business Administration / Management
  • Public Administration / Management
  • Social Science
  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Human Resource Management
• Minimum of 2 years functional experience in:
  • Client services environment
  • Claims processing environment of UIF
  • Insurance claims environment
