The Department of Employment and Labour is inviting applications for Administration Clerk: Inspection and Enforcement Services positions in the Western Cape.

There are 2 posts available at the following Labour Centres:

• Bellville Labour Centre
• George Labour Centre

The successful candidates will render administration support services to the Directorate. The role includes controlling the movement of documents and files, providing supply chain management support, and assisting with human resource services support.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates with Matric / Grade 12 / Senior Certificate who are organised, computer literate, and interested in public sector administration.

Responsibilities

• Render administration support services to the Directorate.
• Control the movement of documents and files in the Directorate.
• Provide Supply Chain Management support in the Directorate.
• Render Human Resource Services support for the Directorate.
• Assist with filing and retrieving documents.
• Support data capturing duties.
• Operate office equipment such as photocopiers.
• Maintain organised records and administrative systems.
• Support smooth office operations within Inspection and Enforcement Services.

Requirements

• Matriculation / Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
• No experience required.
• Knowledge of administrative procedures relating to an office.
• Knowledge of filing and retrieving documents.
• Ability to operate a photocopier.
• Ability to capture data.
