About the Opportunity

The Department of Social Development is inviting applications for the position of Branch Coordinator.

This opportunity is based at the HSRC Building in Pretoria and falls under the Comprehensive Social Security branch. The successful candidate will manage strategic and executive administrative support services, coordinate branch planning processes, monitor budget utilisation and support key branch projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the provision of strategic and executive administrative support services to the branch.
• Coordinate the development and analysis of branch Annual Performance Plans, operational plans, strategic plans and risk management plans.
• Manage and monitor the utilisation of the branch budget in line with regulations and prescripts.
• Coordinate key branch projects.
• Coordinate stakeholder and intersectoral engagements.
• Manage and report on human resources matters in line with regulations and prescripts.
• Manage and report on branch performance in line with regulations and prescripts.

Minimum Requirements

• NQF Level 7 qualification recognised by SAQA in one of the following fields:

  • Office Administration
  • Public Administration
  • Business Management
  • Financial Management
