Bayport Financial Services is seeking an Affordability Review Learner to join the team in Johannesburg North. The learner will review loan applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company affordability policies. This role provides valuable exposure to the credit and lending environment within the financial services sector.
Responsibilities
- Assess loan applications for completeness and accuracy
- Verify compliance with business rules and affordability criteria
- Identify missing or incorrect documentation
- Follow internal processes to evaluate customer eligibility
- Escalate complex cases where necessary
- Maintain accurate records of assessments
- Work closely with the credit team to support application processing
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
- No prior work experience required
- South African Citizen
- Ages 18–35
- Currently unemployed and not studying
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good communication skills
- Interest in financial services or credit assessments
- Passion for assisting customers responsibly
