Job Description
Givaudan is inviting applications for the Sales Learner position based in Sandton, South Africa. This on-site opportunity is suited to a candidate who wants to gain practical experience while supporting the Key Account Manager and the broader Commercial team.
The successful learner will assist with sales coordination, customer project systems, sample management, reporting, and general commercial administration. This role offers valuable workplace exposure in a professional environment focused on customer engagement, system accuracy, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly sales reports to monitor customer and territory performance.
- Support the Sales Team with general CRM activities to maintain accurate customer information.
- Plan and coordinate customer visits and meetings in line with business priorities.
- Assist with preparing presentation materials for customer engagements.
- Manage price quotation requests and ensure timely communication with customers.
- Monitor customer price adjustment schedules and ensure updates are captured correctly in systems.
- Maintain accurate customer master data across commercial systems and processes.
- Assist the Key Account Manager with customer identification activities in new territories.
- Assist with quarterly updates of the territory potential file.
- Request samples from production units through the CRM system.
- Coordinate and dispatch customer samples with the required documentation and certifications.
- Manage and track sample requests within the customer project system.
- Communicate with customers regarding sample status and delivery timelines.
- Assist with travel arrangements for the Key Account Manager.
- Take meeting minutes and assist with action tracking for project meetings.
- Monitor project timelines and send reminders to team members.
- Handle general filing and correspondence for the department.
- Maintain electronic filing systems for customer documentation, visit reports, and product information.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Business Administration qualification or equivalent.
