Responsibilities

• Support the Tax Team on a variety of administrative tasks.
• Develop an understanding of how a professional tax practice operates.
• Assist with month-end billing and fee quote preparation.
• Support the onboarding of new clients.
• Update systems and assist with eFiling processes.
• Build strong client relationships.
• Assist with SARS registrations and deregistrations.
• Update Registered Representatives with SARS.
• Track the progress of tax returns, submissions, and deadlines.
• Build familiarity with tax systems such as ProfTax.
• Assist with booking SARS appointments.
• Prepare supporting documentation.
• Request compliance documents such as Good Standing Certificates.
• Liaise with SARS to resolve queries.
• Develop an understanding of tax processes.

Requirements

• Matric.
• 0 to 3 years’ experience.
• Microsoft Suite skills.
• SharePoint is advantageous.
