Sun International is inviting applications for the National Certificate in Gaming Operations x10 (Dealers) Learnership at Wild Coast Sun in Port Edward.

Wild Coast Sun Casino is offering a training opportunity for vibrant and motivated candidates who are interested in building a career in the gaming and hospitality industry.

Successful candidates will be placed in the Gaming Tables Department, where they will be trained to work according to specified procedures while helping to create an environment that supports excellent guest service.

This learnership is suitable for candidates with strong interpersonal skills, ethics, drive, and a willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and in a smoking environment where operationally required.

Job Purpose

The purpose of the learnership is to train candidates to work in the Gaming Tables Department according to required procedures while supporting excellent guest service standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Gaming Operations learnership programme.
• Work in the Gaming Tables Department as part of the training programme.
• Follow specified gaming procedures and workplace instructions.
• Support a professional and guest-focused gaming environment.
• Provide excellent guest service.
• Maintain ethical and professional conduct.
• Work shifts according to operational requirements.
• Work weekends and public holidays when required.
• Follow workplace rules, procedures, and Gaming Board requirements.
• Perform duties in designated smoking areas where operationally required.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy.
• Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
• Valid South African ID.
• Must be willing to work shifts.
• Must be willing to work weekends and public holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long hours.
• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.

Preference

Preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates from designated groups in line with the Employment Equity Act, internal recruitment policy, employment equity plans, and Gaming Board licence conditions.
