Job Description

Fidelity Services Group is inviting applications for a Purchase Requisition Clerk position based in Midrand, Gauteng.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing non-stock supplier requisitions, correctly allocating costs to General Ledger accounts and cost centres, and ensuring National Account uploads are completed accurately.

This position forms part of the Securedrive Inland Finance Team and reports to the Financial Accountant.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates with Matric, strong administrative ability, Microsoft Excel proficiency, attention to detail, and an interest or background in finance.

Responsibilities

• Process requisitions on SAP.
• Ensure that the correct General Ledger account is allocated on requisitions.
• Ensure that the correct cost centre is allocated on requisitions.
• Ensure service level agreements are followed.
• Follow up on goods receipting for framework orders and other requisitions.
• Contact branch managers and administrators daily to ensure items are closed out on the open purchase order report.
• Ensure items are closed in the month that goods are received or services are delivered.
• Work with the ME2L open purchase order report.
• Ensure National Key Account account splits are correct.
• Communicate and follow up on queries with staff and suppliers.
• Resolve queries relating to requisitions and open purchase orders.
• Assist the finance department where necessary.
• Upload National Accounts, including MTN, Vodacom, Telkom, Plus One, and related accounts.
• Process Capex requisitions.
• Perform ad hoc duties when required.

• Finance background will be advantageous.
