Catch is hiring a Shipping and Compliance Coordinator based in Sandton, Gauteng.

The role involves liaising with international clients importing networking equipment, working with the company’s global network, ensuring customer satisfaction, and developing expertise in import and export compliance requirements for a specific region of the world.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with an international pool of clients that are importing networking equipment on a daily basis.
• Work directly with the Global Network and manage relationships across the global network.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Become an expert in the import and export compliance requirements of a specific region of the world.
• Run shipments from start to finish.
• Balance the needs of both suppliers and clients to facilitate documents, movement, and clearance.
• Communicate with clients and suppliers.
• Interpret supplier messages and explain shipment needs to clients.
• Take the lead on decisions to ensure the health of shipment orders.
• Identify pressure points and raise them with the Lead SCC and Shipping Manager.
• Flag any out-of-process or new requirements for review.
• Contribute to knowledge maintenance on the system.

Requirements

• University Undergraduate Degree.
• LLB is preferable.
• Honours Degree is advantageous.
• Work experience is advantageous.
• Strong academic track record is required.
