Sasol is inviting applications for the Learnership: Artisan Chemical Plant Operator opportunity based in Secunda and Sasolburg.

This 36-month fixed-term learnership programme is designed to provide structured institutional learning supported by practical on-the-job workplace learning. The programme focuses on Chemical Plant Operator training and gives learners exposure to the chemical and energy industry within Sasol’s operational environment.

Successful candidates will be expected to participate fully in the learnership programme, complete all required assessments, and take part in workplace readiness activities and exercises. The opportunity is suited to candidates who have a strong foundation in Mathematics, English, and Science and are interested in building a technical career in chemical plant operations.

Requirements

Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:

Grade 12 National Senior Certificate

A completed Grade 12 National Senior Certificate with six subjects, including passes in:

• Technical Mathematics or Mathematics.
• English.
• Technical Science or Physical Science.

OR N3 National Senior Certificate

A completed N3 National Senior Certificate with six subjects, including passes in:

• Mathematics.
• English.
• Engineering Science.
